ABB DEMO TRUCK stopped at the Oberkirch plant
At Koehler Paper, the experts from the Innovation & Technology department, Central Plant Engineering, Operating Engineering and Production are working flat out on new, future-oriented products and processes. The digital transformation plays an important role here. Industry 4.0 has long been established at Koehler, because the linking of industrial production and IT creates a growing degree of networking and flexibility. That's why Koehler Paper warmly welcomed the ABB demo truck at the Oberkirch site, which has been driving through Europe since October 2020 and recently stopped at the ZELLCHEMING Expo in Wiesbaden. The exchange among the experts about the new, future-oriented end-to-end solutions in the paper and pulp industry was lively and the ABB truck on July 8, 2022 was well attended. Dr. Jörg Padberg, Coordinator of Digitalization Technology at Koehler, states: “Digital transformation is becoming an increasingly important part of the working world. That's why the following applies to us: We don't want to oversleep the digital change, but rather help shape it in an elementary way!"
