Zellcheming 2024: Focus on Sustainability
From 18 to 20 June 2024, this year's ZELLCHEMING-Expo took place at the Rhein-Main CongressCenter in Wiesbaden with representatives from the paper, cellulose and fiber-based industries. The numerous presentations, panel discussions and workshops focused on the topics of sustainability and climate-neutral paper production. Our colleagues from Koehler Innovation & Technology were also there, not only sponsoring the event but also using the platform to exchange technological experiences.
Dr. Markus Wildberger, Corporate Director Technology at Koehler Innovation & Technology, took part in a panel on the topic of "The paper and fibre-based industry on the way to climate-neutral production". He presented his vision of the paper industry in 2030 (sustainable and green!) and emphasized: "We must set out together to reduce energy requirements and resource consumption through innovative approaches and make paper production climate-neutral and future-proof.
